I would consider this book as more adult than her Charity books. LLL is a sweet book of love.
I really like how she incorporated the element of faith in this book.
I would recommend this book to any young girl who wants to read a book of love and faith.

DeAnna Kinney’s books are remarkable. They deserve an award!!

I read this book and totally enjoyed. I even notified the author and told her that I enjoyed the book and was looking forward to reading more of her writings. The one comment that was made in regards to Lily being a Christian but not acting like it, well, my view on that is she was married and what she was doing/acting/expressing was with her husband and she was not flaunting herself.

Let the author write the book and you read it. I am sure that people are not going to give 100% ratings on everybook they read but be encouraging to the author. If you don't like the authors style.... don't read it.
cute sweet clean story. liked that it was an easy read and not full of fluff. enjoyed the book very much.

I absolutely adore DeAnna Kinney's work.She writes so well and her books never fail to entertain me and keep me hooked. I loved Loving Lily Lavender just as much as I've loved her other series.I won't give any spoilers away but Loving Lily Lavender is definitely worth reading. Her cover is just gorgeous as well!
This book was really good! Worth the buy. The characters really seemed to connect and really love each other. In this book there is humor, love, and friendship. What more could you want from a book? My only problem was how fast they fell in love,I kind of go for the she can't stand him at first sort of thing but other then that great! Read more of this authors book like Charity Moon series. Look forward to more of her books!!
If you are tired of books that have no depth on love with a faith that's sweet as the couple in this book, then u will love this Christian book. At first I thought I wasn't going to get that deep into it because at first the writing threw me. It was the voice of a younger person, much younger than me obviously, but I fell in love with the story, the characters and the genuine message of love. This is a very sweet light Christian romance with moral beliefs, some suspense and an ending (though there could be more). I enjoyed this immensely, cried a few happy tears and was left feeling very good. That itself is rare in the new adult book romance category. I liked the other title better (no I'm not telling about that, you'll have to read it). Afterward, I decided the title fit, lol. First person POV are hard to pull off, but I believe Ms. Kinney warmed up as the story progressed and the characters matured.
This book was about a young woman of faith who finds love in an unexpected place with Lucas, a famous actor and their journey of love and faith. The faith part is light and doesn't mention Jesus but it's clear it's Christian because the Bible is mentioned, but please don't think it's preachy! It's a message of love and one I received with joy. It actually made me think about my own love and faith. It's clean for teens too. Read it, you won't be sorry. 4.5 stars. I'll be watching this author from now on.

Loving Lily Lavender was a cute story that had me grinning and at times groaning.

What I loved The thing that pulled me into this book was the romance. Lucas and Lily are such a sweet couple and watching their romance blossom into a fairy tale love was wonderful. Ifm a sucker for that cheesy, giggly, first love kind of romance, and this book gives you exactly that.

What I liked I really liked the characters. They were all well-developed and very likable, each one with their own unique personalities. Lucas and Lily were perfect, and they kept me invested until the end.

What drove me crazy All the near-death experiences drove me batty. They just sort of happen and then are resolved quickly, and we move right into the next one. I think it would have been more interesting if they were weaved together but what we get is conflict then resolution, then conflict then resolution, etc. For me, the major action felt underdeveloped and was resolved way too quickly.

My overall thoughts In the end, I really struggled with this book bouncing from a 3 to a 4 star rating. But even with the action drawbacks, I loved the romance, and I just couldn't get that prefect love out of my mind. If you are looking for an easy and cute read with a wonderful love story, I would recommend this one.
